From this tutorial I am going to tell you how to send MMS to mobitel or dialog mobile phone freely. We just need a free email account for this. But for this tutorial I will use a free GMAIL account since it is the most popular free email service. This is really a simple task. We just need to send an email attaching the image we want to send as an MMS. The email address contains the phone number of the receiver.
First go to your email account and start to send a new email. Usually Compose in GMAIL. Then attach the image you want to send as an MMS. If you want to send a text also type it in the email body. Then add the receiving email address as follows.
If your receiver is a Mobitel user...
+94XXXXXXXXX@mms.mobitel.lk
If your receiver is a Dialog user....
+94XXXXXXXXX@mms.dialog.lk
Here you should change the above address by replacing the XXXXXXXXX part with your receiver's mobile number. For example if your receiver has the mobile number as 0711234567 you should use the address as +94711234567@mms.mobitel.lk. And if your receiver has the mobile number as 0771234567 then you should use the address as +94771234567@mm.dialog.lk.
